| Serve the Lord with gladness ... (Psalms 100:2a). |
| Our King, God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, requires servants to serve Him in His Kingdom. He has saved us for this very purpose - to enhance the agenda of His Kingdom on earth through serving Him. He says to Pharaoh, |
| “... Let my people go, that they may serve me.” (see Exodus 9:1, KJV). |
| We give thanks to God, our Father, who has qualified us to be partakers of this grace of service. (see Colossians 1:12) |

Serving God is an honour and a privilege, and God has counted us worthy to serve in His house. We are grateful to God for this. Hallelujah, and
glory to God!
Serving God is a God-given opportunity to invest in the Kingdom of God. Jesus says, |

“And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." (see Revelation 22:12)

| God’s reward for our service is thus sure. |
| For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. (Hebrews 6:10). |

| On this basis, we endeavour to joyfully serve Him with full knowledge, zeal, dedication, and commitment, because we know whom we have believed in. |
| And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ (Colossians 3:23-24, NKJV) |
